Matt Fraction revealed new information about ADVENTUREMAN!, a project co-created with artist Terry Dodson (RED ONE, Uncanny X-Men, Defenders), at HeroesCon in Charlotte today.

“It’s about a retired policewoman with a young son that discovers the fictional adventures of a pulp hero named ‘Adventureman’ weren’t so fictional after all when she inherits his mantle in the present day. But she inherits all of his old scores, grudges, and enemies, too.”

Fraction showed off some of Dodson’s character designs and promised the book would have a unique format, but withheld any further details until nearer ADVENTUREMAN!’s release.
